Transition to Stillness. A morning of restorative yoga and meditation

At this liminal time of Equinox, we invite you to a balancing and soothing morning of restorative yoga and meditation in preparation for the changing season.

To celebrate the Harvest full Moon and a time of gathering in, this healing and unhurried session will allow you to ground yourself, sooth the entire system and reflect on your journey before coming to rest in stillness.

The focus here is on deep physical and mental nurturing and recuperation. It is a workshop designed to calm the nervous system and give you the space and support to deeply relax and recharge.

Olivia Tsang is a yoga teacher passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone.  This will be a somatic (body-sensation) focused practice instead of the more conventional alignment-focused practice.  As she guides you through slow gentle movement to eventually settle into restorative poses to release tension in the body and the mind, you are encouraged to rest your awareness in the subtle sensations brought on by the experience.

Tara Gould is an experienced and accredited meditation guide, a creativity and EFT practitioner. She will lead you through breathing exercises and meditation into a place of peaceful connection, stillness and regulation. Her methods draw on Insight and Mindfulness Meditation practices, and some simple, enriching group chants will be incorporated into the session.

The session is accessible to all, whether you’re entirely new to yoga and meditation or a seasoned practitioner, you are warmly invited to this morning of calm and connection.
